Follow these steps to add user accounts to the Protected Users group using Active Directory Users and Computers:
- Open Active Directory Users and Computers (dsa.msc).
- From the Action menu, select Find…. In the Name field, type the Protected Users, and press Enter. From the list of Search results: select the group.
- Right-click the group and select Properties from the menu.
The Protected Users Properties window will now appear.
- Navigate to the Members tab.
- Click Add… to add users, contacts, computers, service accounts or groups to the group.
