Active Directory in Windows Server 2016 offers a new feature, that is, labeled expiring links. This feature configures links in link-value attributes, such as the members attribute, for a group with an optional time-to-live value. When the time is up, the link expires; if it is a group membership, then the membership disappears.
This feature can be used as a way to provide temporary group memberships.
