So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The Password writeback functionality in Azure AD Connect offers add-on functionality to the Self-service Password Reset and Change Password functionality in Azure AD for organizations that use both Active Directory and Azure AD in a Hybrid Identity setup.
When Password writeback is not enabled in Azure AD Connect or when their account is not in scope for Azure AD Connect, people that use the Self-service Password Reset functionality or the Change Password functionality in either their MyProfile or their Office 365 experience receive an error that passwords can't be changed right now.
