I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Getting ready
To modify the default location for new user objects and computer objects, the Active Directory environment needs to run the Windows Server 2003 domain functional level (DFL). If you try to modify the location in an Active Directory environment running the Windows 2000 Server DFL, you will receive the following error:
Error, unable to modify the wellKnownObjects attribute. Verify that the domain functional level of the domain is at least Windows Server 2003: Unwilling To Perform Redirection was NOT successful.
There is also a bug when you try to modify the default location for new user and computer objects on a domain controller running Windows Server 2008 in an Active Directory domain running the Windows Server 2008 DFL. The ...
