How to do it...

Perform these steps on the Windows Server you dedicate to Azure AD Connect:

1. Double-click AzureADConnect.msi. The Microsoft Azure Active Directory Connect screen appears.
2. On the Welcome screen, select the I agree to the license terms and privacy notice. option.
3. Click the Continue button.
4. On the Express Settings screen, click the Customize button.
5. On the Install required components screen, click the Install button.
6. On the User Sign-in screen, select Federation with AD FS as the sign-in method.
7. Click Next.
8. On the Connect to Azure AD screen, enter the credentials of an account in Azure AD that has been assigned the global administrator role.
