Follow these steps to reset an administrator password:
- Sign into the domain controller or Windows Server-based management server that has LAPS installed with an account that is a member of the Enterprise Admins group or the Domain Admins group.
- Start the LAPS UI from the Start Menu of the Start Screen:
- In the LAPS UI window, enter a device name in the ComputerName field or use the Search button to search for a device.
