I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Using Active Directory Users and Computers
To rename a user using Active Directory Users and Computers, follow these steps:
- Open Active Directory Users and Computers (dsa.msc).
- In the View menu, enable Advanced Features.
- Perform one of these actions:
- In the left navigation pane, navigate to the OU or container where the user object resides. In the main pane, select the user object.
- From the Action menu, select Find…. In the Name field, type the name of the user object and press Enter. From the list of Search results:, select the user object.
- Right-click the user object and select Rename from the list.
- Type the new name for the user object and press Enter.
