It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Managing strict replication consistency
Strict replication consistency is a mechanism on domain controllers that prevents them from replicating with a replication partner when it suspects an object that is replicated in is a lingering object. Strict replication consistency is enabled, by default, but can be disabled.
