So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Getting ready
To configure the Password writeback functionality in Azure AD Connect, you'll need to know the following about your organization:
- Does my organization allow employees to reset their passwords from outside the organization?
To delegate permissions to the Azure AD Connect service accounts, sign in with an account that is a member of the Enterprise Admins group in the Active Directory forest for which you are configuring Password writeback to a Windows Server that has Active Directory Users and Computers (dsa.msc) installed or run Active Directory Users and Computers (dsa.msc) as the user.
