Most Apple computers have two ways to deliver the video signal to an external display, such as a television, VCR, projector, or monitor:
You can send the RGB signal through the VGA/SVGA port to Apple and third-party RGB monitors, as well as to televisions and projectors that support RGB video input.

You can send the signal through the S-video port to VCRs, televisions, and projectors with S-video ports.
