I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Hardware Access Point Network
A hardware access point network or base station handles all the network traffic to and from its associated wired and wireless clients.
When used as a hardware access point, a base station almost doubles the communication range of clients through its in-cell relay capability. With a computer-to-computer network, the clients can't be more than 150 feet apart when communicating over 802.11b. But if you place a base station between them, each can be up to 150 feet from the base station, or up to 300 feet from one another. They'll still be able to communicate by relaying traffic through the base station.
