I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Wireless Bridge Troubleshooting
There are several common concerns you may encounter when you're troubleshooting bridged base stations.
Base Station Compatibility
If you having trouble getting the main base station to recognize a secondary base station or getting a bridge to function, make sure all base stations are AirPort Express or AirPort Extreme Base Station models. Older base stations do not support wireless bridging. AirPort Extreme Base Station models can be quickly identified by their silver Apple logos.
Wireless Clients Cannot See Bridged Base Stations
If you have two or more base stations in wireless bridging mode and wireless clients can't see them, make sure the “Allow wireless clients on this base station” checkbox is selected.
