All Mac mini models come with a single DIMM slot. The minimum amount of memory is 256 MB and the maximum amount is 1 GB.
Mac mini computers work with memory modules that meet all of these criteria: PC2700, +2.5V, unbuffered, 8-byte, nonparity, 184-pin, and 333Mhz DDR SDRAM. DIMMs with any of the following features are not supported in the Mac mini computer: registers or buffers, PLLs, ECC, parity, or EDO RAM.
The following installation process assumes you have already removed the Mac mini computer's top housing and grounded yourself following the steps on the previous pages.
