So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Installing an AirPort Extreme Card
All iMac G5 models are AirPort Extreme–ready. You may install only the AirPort Extreme Card in the iMac G5; older AirPort Cards do not work in this computer.
The following installation process is extremely simple. It assumes you have already removed the iMac computer's back cover and grounded yourself following the steps on the previous pages.
1. | Remove the AirPort Extreme Card from its packaging. |
2. | Slide the AirPort Extreme Card into the AirPort Card guide channel, label-side down and bar code facing up, until it clicks into place.
Do not force the card; it should slide in easily.
