In this exercise, you will install SDRAM into an eMac (Original). All eMac models have two easily accessible DIMM slots for SDRAM. Most eMac models ship from Apple with a memory module already installed in one of these slots. To maximize memory, you may need to replace the existing module with a larger module in addition to inserting a new module into the empty slot.
The following installation process is extremely simple; it assumes you have already shut down the computer, unplugged all peripherals, and positioned the computer face down.
