So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Taking Apart the Mac mini
At each stage of the Take Apart procedure, if there are special notes and information, we'll let you know; otherwise, we proceed component to component, from the outside in.
NOTE
The Mac mini is not designed with any Do-It-Yourself (DIY) parts for repair by end users. If you open a Mac mini for any reason, and any damage to the unit results, the repair of such damage will not be covered under Apple's warranty or the AppleCare Protection Plan.
Top Housing
The first step to replace any internal component is to remove the top housing of the computer.
