When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Vertical Raster Shift
The raster moves up so the menu bar is no longer visible. Use the following procedure to replace the IVAD (Integrated Voltage Analog Data) cable:
1. | Remove the rear housing from the eMac. |
2. | Discharge the CRT.
NOTE Warning: The eMac contains high voltage and a high-vacuum picture tube. To prevent injury, follow the discharge instructions in Lesson 10, “Cathode-Ray Tubes.” |
3. | Locate the IVAD assembly, shown in the following photograph. Remove the screw (circled in the photograph) and then remove the metal cable cover.
NOTE You must remove the screws on the IVAD assembly to access one end of the IVAD cable.
