When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Opening a Mac mini
Whether you are adding memory or an AirPort Extreme Card to a Mac mini, the first step is to remove the top housing of the computer.
1. | Turn off the computer by choosing Shut Down from the Apple menu. |
2. | Disconnect all cables except the power cord from the computer. |
3. | Touch the metal case to discharge any static electricity from your body. |
4. | Unplug the power cord.
NOTE You must unplug the AC power cord to prevent the Mac mini from turning on during the upgrade procedure. |
5. | Put on an ESD wrist strap. |
6. | Place a soft, clean towel or cloth on the desk or surface. Hold the sides of the computer, and slowly lay the computer face down on the towel so the ports are facing you and the bottom of the computer (gray color) is facing up. ... |
