When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Adjustment Tools
In addition to user controls, the Display Adjustment Utility (discussed below) is a Mac OS 9 diagnostic tool available to service technicians when working on G3-based iMac models. There is no utility currently available for eMac models; the only way to adjust an eMac model's display is to use the Displays preference in Mac OS X.
The following adjustment procedures apply to the G3-based iMac models with CRTs, such as the iMac (Summer 2001) model, and is intended only as an overview. Please refer to the detailed procedure in the iMac service manual.
NOTE
The tools discussed here require Mac OS 9. Currently, Apple CRT adjustment utilities do not work under Mac OS X or in Classic mode.
