It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

第Ⅰ部、第Ⅱ部では、収集できるデータの種類と、集めたデータを操作す
るツールについて説明した。第Ⅲ部では、これらのデータを使った分析に目
を向ける。
以降の章では、データに対して適用できるさまざまな数学および分析テク
ニックを取り上げる。各章はそれぞれセキュリティと適用現場に関連してい
る。10 章では探索的データ分析（EDA：Exploratory Data Analysis）の手
順を取り上げるので、他の章よりも前に読むとよい。11章、12章、13章、
14章では、挙動の例を取り上げ、挙動と攻撃を関連付け、その挙動から警
告を生成する方法や、挙動をフォレンジックや調査に使う方法を説明する。
15章では、ネットワークのマッピングの問題について述べ、それまでの章
のテクニックを適用して状況認識を行う。
