Adding the Last of the Text
To finish up with the text, you'll notice that the United States Travel Bureau legend appears in orange at the bottom of the poster. Here's a good rule of typography: “Don't use fancy text when the point size is small and the message is long.” Fair enough. In the original poster, Eurostile was used for the Travel Bureau text; good, clean, solid type. You don't have to own Eurostile, however, to finish vectorizing this poster; Arial will do nicely, and there are only three people on this planet who don't own Arial.
I'm going to let you do this last piece of text yourself, but I need to mention something first: The kerning—the spacing between letters—is wider than average with the Travel Bureau text. The solution? Use ...
