Bratton–Marshall Reagent (BM Reagent)
INTRODUCTION
It is chemically N-1-naphthyl ethylene diamine dihydrochloride. It is widely used for the determination of drugs and pharmaceutical containing free primary aromatic amino group. At present, it is employed for the determination of sulpha drugs and local anaesthetics.

MECHANISM OF ACTION
