Thermal Analysis

INTRODUCTION

Thermal methods are mainly used for the determination of physical or chemical change of substances as a function of temperature. Based on the change in the physical property, the thermal analytical methods named as different. They are as follows:

Change in physical propertyName of the method
Mass Thermogravimetry
Temperature Differential thermal analysis
Heat flow (enthalpy) Differential scanning calorimetry

These methods are mainly used in the polymer analysis and solid state analysis.
