So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Lack of Information
One of the biggest barriers to supply chain integration is the lack of information, or worse, inac-
curate information. The lack of information is an obvious problem; however, it may be difcult
to identify inaccurate information until it becomes so blatant that it causes major problems.
Sometimes, information sharing is inhibited by individuals or company cultures, a topic
we discuss later in this chapter. However, there may be potential technology barriers to
information, or knowledge, sharing, such as those in the following list:
• Lack of IT systems and process integration
• Lack of technical support
• Unrealistic expectations of technology users
