Table 16.3 shows how Apple’s sales were distributed among markets in 2011 and 2012.
Although sales increased overall in 2012 over 2011 by 45%, the highest increase was in
Japan and the lowest in Europe, perhaps reecting the economic recovery in Japan and
the continuing slump in Europe.
Table 16.4 shows sales by product segment. As in Table 16.3, the overall increase of
