tion. This step in the process serves as a placeholder allowing
everyone to pause, reflect, learn, and reapply as activities are
revisited and efforts move forward. This is particularly useful for
what we call the phased approaches and when planning specific
initiatives as pilots or proof points, as we’ve seen with Cisco’s
CDO training (discussed in Chapter Four).
