I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Following the successful premiere of Aida, Giuseppe Verdi decided to retire in 1871. Eight years later, he found himself unable to resist a proposal to partner with Italian librettist Arrigo Boito for an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s play Othello. His return to the Italian opera scene resulted in what many critics consider to be his finest piece, Otello.
Boito’s adaptation follows Shakespeare’s play closely, telling the story of Otello, a Moor and mercenary serving in the Venetian Army. Iago, Otello’s ensign, vows revenge when Cassio is promoted instead of him. Iago ...
