Desktop Accessories
A number of standard-issue accessories live in Windows 8’s Desktop world. Some of them may be familiar to you from previous versions of Windows, but as mentioned at the start of the chapter, it’s worth browsing through the list so that you are reminded of what’s available. They’re actually pretty useful. You can start them in several ways:
• From the Start screen, type the first few letters of the accessory’s name and select it from Apps.
• Display the app bar by right-clicking the Start screen or dragging up from the bottom and then select All Apps. Accessories will be listed on the Start screen under Windows Accessories, Windows Ease of Access, and Windows System.
