So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Touring the Control Panel Window
You have three main ways to launch Control Panel:
• On the Windows 8 Start screen, type control, and then click Control Panel in the search results.
• Press Windows Logo+R to open the Run dialog box, type control, and then press Enter.
• Press Windows Logo+X and then click Control Panel.
By default, Windows 8 displays the Control Panel in Category view, shown in Figure 23.1, which displays icons for eight different categories (System and Security, Network and Internet, and so on), as well as two or three links to common tasks under each category icon.
