When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Creating New Taskbar Toolbars
In addition to the predefined taskbar toolbars, you can create new toolbars that display the contents of any folder on your system. For example, if you have a folder of programs or documents that you launch regularly, you can get one-click access to those items by displaying that folder as a toolbar. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Right-click an empty spot on the toolbar and then click Toolbars, New Toolbar. Windows 8 displays the New Toolbar dialog box.
2. Select the folder you want to display as a toolbar. (Alternatively, click New Folder to create a new subfolder within the currently selected folder.)
3. Click Select Folder. Windows 8 creates the new toolbar.
