I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Notepad
The simple Notepad accessory is surprisingly useful for typing quick notes to yourself as well as for editing scripts and batch files, web page HTML files, programs, configuration files, and so on.
I use it so often myself that I always install a shortcut batch file named n.bat on my computers so I don’t have to type out notepad all the time; I can just type the letter n. We show you how to do this in Chapter 30, “Command-Line and Automation Tools,” under “Batch File Tips.”
