Sometimes a friend or coworker may step on your attitude because she (or he) is under pressure and is rendered insensitive to your needs. When this happens, you have two choices. You can allow your attitude to remain depressed and become the victim. Or you can give the other party the benefit of the doubt and restore your attitude to its normal positive stance without making a major issue out of what happened.
