I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Failure to Report or Admit Mistakes to Management
A third common human-relations mistake is failure to admit or report to management personal errors in judgment or violations of company procedures, rules, and regulations.
Everyone makes minor blunders from time to time. Even a good employee is not perfect. Precise and methodical people sometimes make mistakes in calculations. Logical thinkers who pride themselves on their scientific approach to decision making sometimes make an error in judgment. A conscientious person who is very loyal to the organization will, on occasion, violate a company rule or regulation before he (or she) knows it.
