If you expect people to respect you and be sensitive to your needs, don’t step on other peoples’ attitudes. One of the best ways you can keep your attitude from being stepped on is making sure you give other people the same consideration you expect. Value and respect the views, perspectives, and feelings of others. There is always more than one side to an issue and more than one way to solve a problem. It may take more effort on your part to avoid stepping on another person’s attitude, but it will be worth it in the long run.
