Angelo has an intriguing but difficult decision ahead of him. In making it, he should take a long look at himself and the direction he desires his career path to take. How important is immediate monetary success versus long-range security to him? What are his long-term goals? If Angelo becomes impatient and frustrated over slow but steady progress, he should think twice about joining a company that has modest growth potential and makes a practice of promoting from within. The zigzag route to the top might be best.
