Step 3: Determine the limits for the cells, and tally the observations in each
cell� The tally gives the frequency distribution of the data in the number
of values falling in each cell� Calculate the percentage frequency distri-
bution by calculating the percentage of data falling in each cell out of
the total number of values in the sample�
Step 4: Draw a graph with the cell limits on the x-axis and the percentage
frequency on the y-axis using convenient scales� The resulting graph is
a histogram�
