With support for things like Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), VPNs, and custom VM images, Compute Engine is capable of supporting the very high standards of security often required to meet regulatory compliance such as PCI and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). While virtually everything in GCP's infrastructure and service catalog is PCI and HIPAA compliant, Compute Engine's high level of control gives companies the tools they need to ensure their solutions are in line with whatever their security requirements may be.
