Stackdriver has built-in support for a large number of notification channels, including email, SMS, webhooks and the Cloud Console mobile app. Stackdriver also offers native integration with third-party solutions, such as PagerDuty, Slack, Hipchat, and Campfire. For our purposes, let's create an email notification.
If you've installed the Cloud Console mobile app, go ahead and select that too. You can manage your mobile devices from within the Stackdriver Monitoring console by clicking your user profile icon (top-right). Under the Mobile Devices section you can add, edit, or delete your devices. See Chapter 2, The Google Cloud Console, for more information.
