Advanced filtering

While basic filtering provides enough granularity for the majority of use cases, it does so by masking the full complexity of the underlying search engine. In some cases, it may be necessary to filter logs with precision that exceeds the capabilities of basic filtering. In these cases, developers can switch to the much more powerful advanced filtering. Simply click on the drop-down menu in the top-left of the search-filter box and select Convert to advanced filter. When switching from basic filtering to advanced filtering, the Log Viewer will convert any existing filters to the advanced filter syntax:
