Creating dashboards

The Metrics Explorer provides a quick and easy way to delve into the various metrics Stackdriver collects. Building on this, we can create custom dashboards from the resulting graphs. Stackdriver dashboards are a great way to get a quick overview of your cloud resources, with metrics that are custom tailored to your roles and responsibilities.

To create a new dashboard, click Dashboards | Create Dashboard in the left navigation menu. From here you can click ADD CHART to be presented with the same interface as the resource explorer.
