Creating a TCP network load balancer

For example, try creating a network load balancer to distribute TCP traffic across a set of VMs. Note that while this example uses a TCP load balancer, it is generally advisable to use HTTP(S) load balancers to serve HTTP and HTTPS traffic. Here, we will create the NLB using a series of gcloud commands to create and configure each component.

Alternatively, load balancers can be created from within the Cloud Console by navigating to Navigation menu | Network services | Load balancing. The Cloud Console simplifies the process by hiding some of the complexity, but creating an NLB from the command line will allow more insight into how it is configured.
