Namespaces

All Datastore entities are grouped into namespaces, which provide a mechanism for segregating similar data at a high level. Namespaces are generally used to facilitate multi-tenancy. For example, an e-commerce platform may need to store several kinds of data on a per-seller basis, such as inventory and listings. In this case, each seller could be given a unique namespace. If an entity's namespace is not specified, it is created in the default namespace.
