I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
Distributed Replay is a powerful tool that can give you a much better idea of how your database will perform under load. It builds off of the SQL Server Profiler’s replay capability but it adds in the all-important capability of replaying concurrent workloads. Concurrent load testing will get you much closer to what you might see in the real world and it fits in with Microsoft’s goal of providing predictable performance for your SQL Server applications.
