I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Migrating DTS Packages
Support for running DTS packages is not provided with SQL Server 2014, and there is no method available for migrating DTS packages to SSIS. If you are still using DTS packages and want to bring the functionality into SQL Server 2014, you have the following two options for migrating DTS packages:
Migrate the packages first to SQL Server 2005 SSIS or SQL Server 2008 SSIS using the DTS Package Migration Wizard available with those versions and then upgrade the SSIS packages generated by these tools to SQL Server 2014 Integration Services using the SQL Server 2014 SSIS Package Upgrade Wizard.
