I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Using SQL Server Visual Studio BI
The SQL Server Visual Studio (VS) with BI capabilities is a project option from within Visual Studio when you install the BI features as a part of the BI/Analysis Services install process. We will assume you have installed SQL Server Analysis Services, the BI features, BI templates, and SQL Server 2014. When VS is open, you choose File, New Project (or just click on the New Project icon item in the left pane). You now choose what type of project this will be: either an Analysis Service project, Integration Services project, or a Reporting Services project. Within the Analysis Services project options you will now choose either Analysis Services Tabular Project, Analysis Services Multidimensional and Data Mining ...
