It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Signing up for a Windows Azure subscription is a simple process that takes only a few steps.
To begin, visit http://azure.microsoft.com and sign in with your Microsoft account. Next, click on the Try it Free button, after which you’ll be redirected to a screen where you will enter your registration details.
