When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Apply the Workload
The output files that were created in the prior step can now be processed by the Distributed Replay Controller and run by the Distributed Replay Clients against the target server. This is done using the dreplay.exe with the replay option. You should get on the Controller computer then open up a command prompt window. Run the dreplay.exe application with the replay option as shown in the following example:
dreplay replay -s dreplaytarget\Inst2014 -w cgdv7 -f 10 -o -d "C:\trace"
In this example, the target SQL Server instance is set to dreplaytarget\Inst2014 using the -s option. The -w option is used to specify the client machines that you want to run the workload. In this example, there is only ...
