VM Guest Recommendations
The VM guest is the instance of the VM software that is running on the VM Host. There can be one or more of these VM guests on a given host. The ability to run more than one VM instance on a given host is a very powerful feature but careful consideration needs to be given to the number of VM guests that are run on a host, the resources that these VM guests will need and the configuration of those VM guests to achieve optimal performance for SQL Server.
