Graphical Solution to a Linear Programming Problem

The easiest way to solve a small LP problem such as that of the Glickman Electronics Company is the graphical solution approach. The graphical procedure can be used only when there are two decision variables (such as number of x-pods to produce, X1 and number of BlueBerrys to produce, X2). When there are more than two variables, it is not possible to plot the solution on a two-dimensional graph; we then must turn to more complex approaches described later in this module.
