The Seven Cs framework is constructed around a number of dynamic stages, each of which emphasizes a different aspect within the consultancy life cycle. Each stage represents a particular phase that a consultancy process will follow. Within each stage is a set of sub-elements and diagnostic tools that are used to ease the engagement process.
